I haven't started Snow Like Ashes yet (so many books I didn't finish yet! But SLA is on my to-be-read list) but I'm sorta curious. Are there any diverse characters? Or, if there's none, will there be in the future books?

Yes! Well, definitely in books 2 & 3 – SLA itself is sadly rather lacking in diverse characters, but I promise, I make up for it!
