Jim Crocker I'm a huge Michael Mann fan from back in the days of Crime Story. What can I say? I'm easy, but it works for me. One of his best was Last of the Mohicans, just on visusl imagery alone. But Collateral was a real masterpiece. Tom Cruise did a gerat job. The most interesting part was how the entire focus of the movie shifted from Cruise to Fox with most viewers not realizing that it happened. Cheers!

Stephen I'm a huge fan, too, Jim, beginning with the Miami Vice TV series. Enjoyed the Last of the Mohicans also. Manhunter, Heat, Collateral, and The Insider were standouts for me. It's an interesting point you make about the shift in focus during Collateral--hadn't thought about it before, but you're right. Cheers!
