Progress on the book—getting warmer out there, too…

Nothing too bad, but I'm very jealous of my best writing time, early morning; and Jane is sensitive to strong light—so our best way to paint the garage is in the time before the sun has gotten too fierce, or Jane gets a headache. So we hope for cloudy days, of which there do not seem to be many, lately.

And the intense light has increased algae growth in the pond: the koi love it. They live in a 4000 gallon bowl of food, and only need treats now and again— but it also means I have to pull the pre
