Bluey, a 12-year-old tortoiseshell cat who came to the UK’s Blue Cross Animal Charity’s facility in Cambridge after her guardian had to go into a care facility, purrs louder than a tube train (London’s subway system is referred to as “the tube,”) louder than a lawnmower, and above the level thought to cause damage if you’re exposed to it long-term.
