Blogger Event at Books and the City

Earlier this week I spent a lovely evening at the offices of S&S hearing from a panel of their fabulous authors.

It was great to hear sample chapters read from their books. I was particularly interested in Iona Grey ‘LETTERS TO THE LOST’ which is another 2015 debut set in the Second World War. She read a touching scene from the book which was full of atmosphere and romance.

Then it was time to mingle with bloggers and other authors. Heat Magazine’s Isabelle Broom was there (left) with Hannah Beckerman (right) author of ‘THE DEAD WIFE’S HANDBOOK’. There were a lot of Twitter avatars come to life and lots of bookish chat.
