The Book Hangover Effect: Sequels

I’m sure I can’t be the only one who has ever felt torn between reading a book that has a sequel or waiting until all the books are out. When it comes to those, for me it’s very simple.

I can’t help but read the first one.

Really, I don’t know if it’s a new kind of evil masochism but I never can’t seem to keep from reading a book if the opportunity presents itself, even if the next one doesn’t come out in until 1+ year. I know, I know, I may just be torturing myself.
