He does get some blowback, I’ve witnessed it. But I also think, to be frank, that some of it is accessibility. Some creators are available via Tumblr and Twitter and blogs and such, and I think that makes them a little more vulnerable to some of those charges. If you think Grant did something awful, most people are not likely to get a chance to convey that to him and they are aware of that, whereas you can post to Twitter, Tumblr, or Greg’s webpage and have a reasonably assurance he will see it.
I don’t think that’s the only factor, but I think it’s one of the balls in play, for sure.
