SYNOPSIS

You know what they say about mixing business with pleasure

When the breakdown of her marriage leaves Sadie Turner a single mum, she vows that she will make it on her own. After all, why would a smart businesswoman with a PhD and the prospect of a life-changing deal on the horizon need a man?

But Sadies man-ban is tested to the limit when she travels to Monaco to meet her potential investor. There she encounters Mac, a rough and ready playboy billionaire who lives life in the fast lane and thats when the real adventure starts!

But Sadies heart isnt the only thing on the line. Theres also the business shes worked so hard to make a success; the business that could so easily slip out of her grasp if she doesnt seal the deal within thirty days

Book Review ~ ‘Take a Chance on Me’ by Debbie Flint ~ 5 Stars!

Wonderfully romantic and superbly written, ‘Take a Chance on Me’ is the perfect sexy and heart-felt novel to while away an evening with.

Straight away I connected with Sadie. She was fun and cheeky but professional, making sure that nothing would come in the way of her making the best for herself and her two daughters. She was a hugely original heroine, and she felt very real and human. Her motives, hopes and dreams were all understandable, and I think Sadie’s story will resonate with a lot of female readers.

Mac was just pure indulgence on a boat. I loved seeing the innocent in love side to him at the beginning of the story and to witness his change into a businessman with rules alongside Sadie, and getting the added insight of what was going through Mac’s mind, and how he was really coping with the predicament he found himself in, was so great. I loved his development throughout the course of the novel, and I fell for his bad-boy businessman self knowing the sweetheart that was beneath it.

The way the business side of the story developed was brilliant. I am quite possibly the most inept business minded person in the world, but the way that Debbie Flint managed to mix the business deals and terms in the story, keeping them realistic and easily understandable to me as a reader, shows what a talent is.

A delightful book to read, and I hope to see more from Debbie Flint in the future!
