What's up with the Coming Soon! October 1, 2015...?????
Coming Soon! October 1, 2015…?????
You've seen the heading and wondered what it meant. Well, today is the day for that answer. Here goes Goodreads Family:
In the coming days and months, I'll post several groups of word puzzles that hold the clues as to what's ahead on October 1, 2015. Each day I will post a scrambled word for that particular puzzle. After all the scrambled words for that particular puzzle group posts, you then have to figure out the correct order to form a sentence. A very special sentence. How special? It and the remaining puzzles are all well-known, let's say, artistic titles. Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. what you believe is the correct famous title and you'll have your answer. What's good about this is that I will only give one word per day so that leaves plenty of time to solve the word-for-the-day. The first five entrants per puzzle that email me the correct final and again, well-known artistic title, I will place their names in a drawing. At the conclusion of the final puzzle, I will randomly select three winners to receive a special prize. That special prize is what, Cortez? I'm an author so all roads lead to take a wild guess? A book! How do you like that? Three special winners will receive ARCs or Advance Reading Copies of my next book, which will tie into these series of puzzles.
Now, how many puzzles you may have thought but didn't voice aloud? Eighteen. WHAT??!! That's right, eighteen. But the good news is some are lengthy, some are short and some are somewhere in the middle. For those of you who love games like Word Jumbles or Scrabble and such, I got you covered. Moreover, the final solutions to each puzzle aren't esoteric by any stretch. It's horrible to enlist brainpower on games like these and nobody but Einstein has a chance at solving them. Not here, folks. And I'll add this too: The artistic titles are all in the same medium or artistic form of expression. So, tell your SOIs or Spheres Of Influence to join the party. Remember, only after the last scrambled word posts and you've formed what you believe is the final solution or aka final artistic title do you send via email your final answer. If I get any emails before the final scrambled word posts in that particular puzzle, I will disqualify that email from a chance at the ARCs. You're pretty on the ball, but an early entree will lead to your fall. And no, those artistic titles aren't of the poetic variety. You can use the Contact form on my website or simply send it via metrobbb@windstream.net.
The period between the last posted scrambled word, the first five correct solutions emailed to me and the posting of the next puzzle will depend upon how soon I get that final puzzle/artistic title. Cool? I hope so. Hey, have fun with this. If no one enters in, I'll pitch a fit and cry. No, well yeah, a little bit perhaps (lol). If that's the case, the game will still serve its purpose but I won't have anyone to reward for their diligence and learned or natural aptitudes and I want to do that! Okay, go to my website at www.cortezlaw.net for the first word in Puzzle #1. God bless you and have fun!
