Summer is finally waning in Australia with cold nights and crisp mornings starting to sneak in – it’s almost time to light the wood fire to ward off the chill! My lovely tomatoes and courgettes are starting to die back but the pumpkin plant my husband insisted I try has two massive pumpkins – now to see if they’re useable! I hope the weather in the northern hemisphere has eased and the worst of winter is past – I love the change in seasons and the promise of spring – or autumn - in the air!
If you’re looking for something to while away the hours, keeping warm on a lazy Sunday afternoon, The Tempting of Thomas Carrick is by now out on all store shelves and virtual shelves everywhere, both in print, ebook and audio-book formats.

I hope you’re all looking ahead to May, when A Match for Marcus Cynster finally hits the shelves. I’m excited to see this novel released as it brings the story started in THE TEMPTING OF THOMAS CARRICK to a thoroughly satisfying and well-rounded end. Until now I haven’t been able to give you an excerpt as that would have involved too many spoilers, but I’m happy to say, now that THE TEMPTING OF THOMAS CARRICK is out and you’ve had a chance to absorb it, I’ll be able to give you a sneak peek excerpt next month – look out for it in my May 1 Letter to Readers. Or, if you’re absolutely dying to find out before then, it will be available as a special sneak peak excerpt in my next email newsletter going out on April 7. A MATCH FOR MARCUS CYNSTER will be released on May 26, 2015, in print, ebook, and audio editions. A longer description and pre-order links can be found on the book page, along with the stepback art (click on the cover to go to the book page). An excerpt will appear on May 1 on my webpage.
The paperback edition of By Winter's Light, the book that pivots from the preceding Cynster generation to the new one, will be released on September 29, 2015 (in the US/Canada; shortly after everywhere else). For those yet to indulge, I hope you enjoy the experience of the snowbound Cynster Scottish holidays of 1837, packed with holiday traditions of yore, the delights of multiple generations under one roof, with a dash of adventure and a gentle romance, plus the seeds of romances to come.
And then?
2016 will see the release of The Adventurers Quartet, a Regency-era adventure-romance quartet evolving from secondary characters encountered in The Lady Risks All, and also including some of your favorites from the Bastion Club and the Black Cobra novels. Think Regency buccaneers! I’m currently deep in the writing phase of this series and enjoying it immensely. More information will be coming your way over the next few months. The first volume is scheduled for release on December 29, 2015, the second volume on March 29, 2016, the third volume in the middle of the year, and the fourth and final volume will be with you in early 2017.
2017 will also bring 3 more Cynster novels, and after reading BY WINTER’S LIGHT, THE TEMPTING OF THOMAS CARRICK, and A MATCH FOR MARCUS CYNSTER, you’ll be able to guess which three Cynsters will get their romances next. Yes, those three - 2017 will be a very big year!
2018 will bring the next three Casebook of Barnaby Adair novels. I’m not completely certain which characters will feature, but you will have met those who have their romance in each book before.
And there’s many more stories on my TBW (to be written) List to follow after that. In short, there are lots more books coming your way.
