Barbara I write in multiple genres. I started with fantasy I the mid 1990's and was told no one wanted fantasy, but HarperCollins wanted historical fiction. Did that for a few books, the. Wrote a couple of contemporary books, and then a
Historical murder mystery. Mostly I did this for myself as I wanted to try various areas of writing. Drives my agent nuts though.

Susan Glad to hear you did it for yourself. I think it can be a trap to try to write for the market, especially when the market changes much faster than we can write!
