Nessa is one of my favorite characters in the book! I love how she was able to find light in the darkest of times, she was always optimistic despite growing up a slave her whole life. And her relationship with Meira (even though it isn't quite deep) is on

I LOOOOVVE Nessa. Her relationship with Meira grows in ICE LIKE FIRE, and it’s something Meira frequently thinks of as what having a sister would be like (actually, Meira views Nessa, Conall, and Garrigan as her own sort of family). They’re protective and loyal and loving yet still end up challenging each other, and Nessa always always always serves as a bright spot in Meira’s life. 

Basically, yes, I love Nessa, and I’m so glad to see someone else share my lurrrve!
