A CONTEST with a question…
In my reboot of Apocalypse Cowboy, I explore the end of the world. Imagine, the world’s population is wiped out by a deadly virus. You’re immune. Almost everyone else isn’t. And those who do survive the virus turn into zombies (not the dead decaying kind. The living kind that are mindless and always hungry!) The question is, where do you go? What do you do?
Having watched the Walking Dead, I have a plan. I’d find myself a nice luxury condo, a penthouse with a view. Because zombies DON’T climb stairs. I’d barricade all the entrances on the lower floor. The floors beneath me would be for supplies. I’d also store a lot of cooking oil and matches. Screw shooting the walkers one by one and wasting ammo or getting up close for a gooey kill. I’d go medieval, pour some oil on them and set their asses on fire. For running water, I’d string together some rain barrels on the roof and run a hose down to the condo for running water. I definitely wouldn’t run around in the woods, making myself into a delicious moving appetizer lol.

If they don't climb stairs, I would definitely go for a really tall building with maybe a pool or atrium on the roof. I would gather all the important supplies like; food, water, flammable liquids, matches/lighters, weapons, flashlights/batteries, clothing, and books. If I am all by myself, there had better be books to read or I will lose my mind! Are animals infected too? I would really love to have some cats for company if they aren't infected too. I would spend lots of time on the roof with binoculars, watching for signs of a sexy, non-zombie guy to invite to take shelter with me!
