The Empty Box coming soon.

The Empty Box, the third book in the Square Peg series ( The Square Peg and The Broken Triangle) is coming from Loose Id on April 7.

Here's the official blurb; cover coming soon!

Dave’s taking life day by day after leaving Travis, his emotionally abusive partner of fifteen years. Working as the cook at the Square Peg is all the social life he has and he’s content with that.

When a swerving car leaves him sprawled on the snowy sidewalk with a broken ankle, being rescued by his new neighbor, young, sinfully pretty Jeremy, seems like the start of something good, even if twenty years separate the two men. But Travis isn’t content to let Dave slip away and Dave’s his own worst enemy, holding Jeremy at arms’ length when Jeremy wants to get as close as possible.

With decisions about his future complicated by his tangled past, can Dave accept the second chance Jeremy offers or will his heart stay empty of love?

Sara I had no idea Dave was getting a book. This makes me so damn happy!

He is! We love the freedom this set up with the bar gives us to shine the spotlight on characters with only a few lines in one book and revisit main characters at the same time. It was interesting to have one character quite old as m/m romances go and it's angstier than usual but obviously a happy ending because we don't do sad ones :-)

Thank you, Gigi! Gosh, I have a lot of books coming out in a short space of time; March, April, and May; I'm getting dizzy!

Vivian I've been hoping for another Peg Universe offering. Thanks!

Hope you like it! It's a little quieter, more subdued, but still romantic. We've gone from the intensity and kink of Shane and Ben to the exploratory freshness of the love between Patrick and Vin to this which is a mix of experience and fresh starts for both men.

Vivian Honestly, I like the idea of the realism of people with different interests and places in their life interacting. When a series is too closely aligned it feels sterile and fake. Then again, I'm not as big a fan of a known quantity as others.

::nods:; It's why we made the Peg a bar. Gay bar, yes, but there are straight customers too and it's not a leather bar or attached to a BDSM club; it's just a bar. Gave us freedom to explore.
