I love how this scene was supposed to be about Sherlock’s lack of self-awareness on the surface and how it’s every bit about John’s lack of self-awareness. They’re literally asking questions about themselves to each other. “Am I a pretty lady?” (“Am I attractive?”) “Do people like me?” It’s 40% cute & hilarious and 60% tragic.
