… Really? The days where Mary shoots Sherlock are “golden”? Maybe he’s just talking about the part leading up to that. Maybe he’s forgotten how that they wrote Sherlock leaving the wedding early and referring to dressing for it as going into battle. Maybe he’s forgotten Sherlock’s literal hand-wringing as John tried to tell him that his marriage wouldn’t change anything between them. Golden for John and Mary, maybe… It’s a good interview and I like this man (though the Doctor Who crossover thing still makes me want to shake his teeth out - NO!) and I like the way he defends fanwork (even at the cost of defending 50 Shades, ugh), but yeah. This part was not my favourite.
