PATH LESS TRAVELLED

The path less traveled

Both dreary and dark

Walking to the beat

Of my pounding heart

Abandoned and alone

Yet not afraid

Making it through

My persistence stayed

The darkness calling

Whispering my name

The feeling overwhelming

A moth to the flame

Lost between trees

Not knowing the way

Caught in his sight

I��m forever his prey

Chills cover my body

As I turn to run

Too far into the trail

I lost and he won
