On Twitter At Last!

I have finally decided to join the 21st century. If you've done the same, please look me up at twitter.com/RachelHaimowitz ; I'd love to follow some interesting feeds and I'm always looking for new ways to procrastinate ;)

Will try to keep my feed interesting as well. My primary interests outside of reading and writing are politics, so be prepared . . .

Kari Gregg Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo...Not politics! I work with 1 Leftie & 1 Right Wing. Get them together & is no wonder I flee for my Kindle. :D

Rachel Haimowitz LOL, mostly I'll probably just post links to people being hypocrites, no matter what side of the aisle they might be on. See my first example re: John McCain and DADT.

Kari Gregg IRL, I'm politically aware and consider it my responsibility to teach my kids about the process, but I also tend to keep my yap shut about who I'm specifically voting for because if dh finds out who I'm voting for, he votes for the closest rival to cancel out our votes. Because dh is a dick. LOL.

But I don't bring politics into my writerly doings. I focus more on my community outreach programs. People will get irate over politics, but I haven't had anyone yet get p.o.'d about my working with at-risk kids or slaving away in the food pantry. ;D

Rachel Haimowitz LOL!

Yeah, I know what you mean. But hypocracy's hypocracy and it irritates the crap outta me, so I'll probably talk about it sometimes.

The other things that'll probably occupy most of my feed are industry news (I'm a professional editor by day, so I see a lot of interesting things from the union newsfeeds, etc) and book reviews. I suppose I could wax poetic about my cat? (Aw. Little paw. Only one is white; on you it's just right.) :-p
