We are certainly getting closer to publication of my ninth Amish-Country Mystery, Whiskers of the Lion. There is only one week now before the publication date of March 31st. This is a favorite of mine. It is a sequel to The Names of Our Tears, and it tells the continuing story of Fannie Helmuth, who has gone into hiding, escaping a murderous drug cartel. Where has she been all summer long? What can Sheriff Bruce Robertson do to find her and to keep her safe until Teresa Molina can be captured? And are all of Fannie’s Florida friends trustworthy? Fannie’s solution, with Robertson’s help, if she can pull it off, is the key to her life and to her chances for happiness in the far-flung Amish communities of America. I have read the story a hundred times, and I have to say that I’ll probably read it again next Tuesday.
