Kindle Worlds FAQ

My book Twice as Daring has been locked and loaded and is currently awaiting it’s release day!!! It will be out on March 24, which is next Tuesday.

There have been some understandable questions about Kindle World books and how they work. I was going to write a post explaining the whole thing, but then I found that the fab Erin Nicholas had already done it. So I’m going to link to her post here. Go read it for all you’ve ever wanted to know about Kindle Worlds and the Dare to Love world created by Carly Phillips in particular. For eg, what on earth is Kindle Worlds? How is my book related to Carly Phillips’s book? Are Carly and I BFFs now? (actually that’s not one of the FAQs. Oops).

If all you really need to know is how to download the book if you are outside the US and have an account that is associated with a differenct country such as Australia, the UK or Canada, this is the info you need.

Log into your Amazon account. Go to settings, in the middle you can see what country you are associated with. Then just a bit above there is a section that tells you what country you can change associations –>> follow that link –>> change to the country of your choice  –>> choose the American site. You’ll be transferred, and able to buy the books in the Dare Kindle World! Then do the same process in reverse to get back to the original site for your country.

(thanks to a very helpful Canadian reader named Marlene for finding this info out for me).

Another important point I want to stress is that Carly Phillips’s Dare to Love books are NOT exclusive to Kindle US. They are available on all platforms, it’s only the Kindle World spin off books that are vendor restricted. If you want to start the series from the beginning you can pick up Dare to Love for FREE. All the links are on Carly’s site.

That’s all for now. I’m reading all the other stories on offer this weekend, and let me tell you that Erin Nicholas, Mari Carr, Rhian Cahill, Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot (who also designed my cover) have brought their A game!

See you next Tuesday

(no rude acronyms intended)
