A NEW LIBATION FOR YOU
I just created a tiki drink I call the NIGHT TIDE (thus the graphics). Its ingredients are as follows:
16 oz frozen mixed berries--- strawberries, blackberries, blueberries & raspberries. premixed packages can be bought at trader joes.
milk
4 packets splenda sweetener
1/2 cup rum
put berries, rum & splenda into blender, add milk to top of berries & mix. add additional milk until drink is the consistency of a milk shake. add rum according to taste, or desired effect. this purple concoction is roughly the same color as one of my bathroom walls & is as visually stunning as it is delicious. enjoy!
I feel compelled from time to time to share some of my recipes with you. I'm no gourmet, but I love to cook & am inventing new dishes fairly regularly. & I have perfected a recipe for pot roast which I guarantee you is the best you've ever tasted. it goes delightfully with my scalloped potatoes, which are based on a recipe by Johnny Mathis, believe it or not.
karin has tried to convince me to edit an Industrial Culture Cookbook, & get recipes from my old time musician friends. I've heard that cosi does the worlds best spaghetti sauce & I know blixa does some sort of pasta dish with ink from a squid or something (it looks HIDEOUS), so who knows...
