Round Robin Clean-Book Reviews – New Facebook Group

We all know how difficult it can be to get honest reviews of our books and no matter how honest the review, a direct book swap is problematic at best. It is hard to be objective and honest (for most people) when you know a corresponding review is coming back at you (in the event you finished first) or you’re trying to be objective when there was a critical review given to you.

Because of these issues and in the interest of creating a better environment where reviews can be set up in a more “blind” fashion (round robin) where the book and author can be better judged on their merits (only) international author Tamie Dearen has set up a new Facebook Group called Round Robin Clean-Book Reviews to meet that need.

As she writes for the outline of types of books they are looking to attract in the group:

What is a clean book?

A clean book will have no explicit sex scenes, no excessive violence, little or no foul language. Sex scenes, if included, should take place “behind closed doors”, so that the reader does not get a play-by-play description. If your books has these elements, you will probably not receive the rating you are looking for from this particular audience.
