KDP Select…an Experiment

In a previous post I stated that it was a difficult decision, but that I was going to opt out of KDP Select for a period of time, to see if my sales would increase. There are a few reasons for this:

1. KDP Select free days, for me, have fizzled. Free downloads have proved unsuccessful for exposure, after-free sales spikes, and reviews.

2. Readers have been asking if my books are available on other digital platforms such as Kobo, Nook, and Smashwords; therefore, I assume I’m ignoring potential...
