Guest Cassie Mae: Top 5 Favorite Nerds, Geeks, and Bookworms

Last week Jen and Psychocat gave their reviews of HOW TO HOOK A BOOKWORM and THE REAL THING by Cassie Mae. Apparently they weren't mean enough, because she decided to stop by for a visit anyway. :)

Let's see what Cassie has in store for us today!

Hi Dragon Readers! A HUGE THANK YOU to Jen and the other Dragons for letting me crash.

Quick (Okay, it’s a long) intro, I’m Cassie Mae, author of a bunch of rom coms across young adult, new adult, and adult. My last release was How to Hook a Bookworm, which the lovely (and intimidating) psychocat reviewed a few days ago :)

I love writing funny. Though, writing funny does not come easy. Mostly it looks like this:

I love all my books, but the How To series holds a very special place in my heart. These characters feel very real to me, each with their own struggles about staying true to themselves and learning to not care what other people think. Also… nerdy, geeky, and adorable boys are fun to write kissing scenes for ;)

What I want most for my readers is for them to come out of my books feeling better about who they are or feeling hopeful for life or maybe (if I’m really lucky) they have laughed hard enough to feel like they got a good ab workout.

And I love countdowns.

Yes, it took me that long to get to the point of this post. I’m also loquacious.

I’m just trying to countdown my top 5 favorite nerds, geeks, and bookworms.

Because I love nerds, geeks and bookworms, too. :D

5. Ned Gold (17 Again)

“I'm rich and no one has shoved my head in a toilet today!”

4. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)

“You could’ve gotten us killed. Or worse… expelled.”

3. Peter Parker (The Amazing Spiderman)

“My weakness. Small knives. Anything but knives!”

2. George McFly (Back to the Future)

“You are my density.”

1. Amy Farrah-Fowler (The Big Bang Theory)

“Self respect and a hymen are better than friends and fun. Love, Mom.”

Those are mine! Any of these awesome characters make it onto your list?

Another big thank you to the Dragon Blog for letting me stop by :) Be sure to check their reviews on my own nerd, geek, and bookworm from the How To series!
