Kendrick Lamar’s new album is called To Pimp A Butterfly, and it has pretty stunning artwork

The cover art for Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming LP is endearingly fascinating. The Compton MC, has recently stated that he is on a “mission.” A mission that puts lyrics and as well “substantial” art in every sense of the word at the forefront. There is no doubt that in the mainstream today, there currently isn’t a lyricist that is as dedicated to inspiring the masses as Kendrick is. If there is one thing that we should learn from this artwork is that Kendrick plans on telling the story of black America and along the way, he has no plans of remorse for anyone that opposes him. Not only should the black community listen up, but America in its entirety should listen as well. This artist has a lot to say and you can guarantee that he is going to say something…

Kendrick Lamar has revealed the title and artwork for his upcoming third studio album. To Pimp��A Butterfly is no doubt a play on the title of Harper Lee���s politically charged 1960 novel To Kill A Mockingbird. Meanwhile, the album artwork depicts a group of black men��standing in front of the White House, holding money and alcohol, while a dead judge lies at their feet.

The cover and title say all you need to know about the album. These guys are in front of the white house and they���re holding cash, alcohol, and a little kid has his middle finger up. People are pimping this butterfly ��� this beautiful culture, BUT, Kendrick is saying that we are letting it happen.
