The cover art for Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming LP is endearingly fascinating. The Compton MC, has recently stated that he is on a “mission.” A mission that puts lyrics and as well “substantial” art in every sense of the word at the forefront. There is no doubt that in the mainstream today, there currently isn’t a lyricist that is as dedicated to inspiring the masses as Kendrick is. If there is one thing that we should learn from this artwork is that Kendrick plans on telling the story of black America and along the way, he has no plans of remorse for anyone that opposes him. Kendrick Lamar has revealed the title and artwork for his upcoming third studio album. To Pimp��A Butterfly is no doubt a play on the title of Harper Lee���s politically charged 1960 novel To Kill A Mockingbird. Meanwhile, the album artwork depicts a group of black men��standing in front of the White House, holding money and alcohol, while a dead judge lies at their feet.
