PARROT SKETCH

This is a bit of sketching practice using a fabulous photo of a parrot from the National Geographic book of poetry edited by renowned poet and former U.S. Children’s Poet Laureate, JPL.

Here are two amazing speeded up drawings of parrots. I’d like to know what brand those pencils were because they show up so well on top of pen. Now I’m wondering if I should have skipped some of the shading and tried pen. Hmm… And I love the paint flicking in the second. My mum showed me how to do that. I fancy having a go.
