Words of wisdom

Over the weekend, I spent too many hours to count tidying up my office.

I gave away 45 books (and yet still have 3 huge bookcases stuffed and doubled up-addicted to books much?), filled a huge wheelie bin with paper and still haven't finished.

But I did come across a birthday card from my brother, where the words made me smile so thought I'd share:

She laughs in the face of birthdays.

She basks in the light of her candles.

She welcomes the years with arms wide open.

I think Hallmark really nailed it with this one.
Though considering the way those candles are stacking up these days, more a case of getting sunburnt when basking!
