Here is an interesting story about the reburial of Richard III, obviously written by someone who does not share our passion for the past; the tone sounds a bit bemused to me. But then the Daily Mail is not exactly a scholarly journal. There is going to be massive media coverage of this event. But Ricardians and also those with knowledge of history are likely going to hear uninformed commentators making truly ludicrous remarks, so be forewarned.

It will probably get worse, too, Leila.
I'm hoping and praying we will be able to watch this in the US.
So interesting that Richard III's skeleton has been found and is being buried with royal dignity. For me reading this newspaper account is really weird as my brain keeps wanting to link to Richard the Lionhearted as I've finally got to reading it this last week. I keep mixing up the two in my head! Too funny. :-)
You're lucky I haven't written about Richard II, too, Elaine, for then it could really get confusing!
I forgot to say which book I'm reading, Sharon. This is the second as I've already read the first about Richard. Love getting into a good historical book!
