Thanks - fingers crossed that it works out for both of us :)

I hadn't heard this would be held in San Diego this year. I live up near L.A., so this is within driving distance... Plus San Diego is just lovely! I think I'll sign up to attend (as a reader of, not writer). It's so far in advance that I'm not sure if conflicts will come up for me, but they do allow you to withdraw without penalty for a few months... so I'll take the risk.
I've seen authors and companies at a YaoiCon a few years back, but haven't been to anything like this before... It should be interesting.
Thanks for giving me a heads up about this! :)
--Now I need to hook up with someone so I can share a room... but I'll wait a while to make sure I can actually make it. I've reserved a room already, though, because it's easier to do that and then cancel than try to get a room later when there's a risk the group rates have sold out...
There should be a discussion thread for this event over at M/M Romance... I was just over there and there wasn't anything...
---
I think most people, authors and readers, are introverts. I've only met a few true extroverts, whereas I've bumped into introverts at all kinds of conventions. I've had to man booths and sell stuff... It's not a great situation since I suck at it... I just try to let things speak for themselves, pretty much...

I actually found out yesterday that I got in as an author. So I'll be there :)

And I'll go over and check out the thread... Thanks for starting one.
