I said I would post more about the Calm The F*ck Down reading at the awesome skylightbooks. Instead, I just grabbed a bunch of photos from attendees’ Facebook and Twitter posts. (Thanks, Jenn, Zach, how2beadad, knockknockstuff, and AJ.)

The whole thing was a total blast. The staff at Knock Knock really had things spinning like a top and the folks at Skylight Books were incredibly welcoming.

I loved seeing a mix of familiar and strange faces in the crowd. I made the whole event a bit interactive by asking the audience questions every now and again during the reading. You’d be surprised how man hand went up when I asked “Who here has eaten dog food?” And people had some great questions during the Q&A part.

Apparently, Skylight recorded the whole thing for a podcast, which will be available in a few weeks. I’ll post a link when it’s live. In the meantime, more fun Calm The F*ck Down stuff is coming, so stay tuned. And don’t forget that you can get your own copy of the book at ctfdbook.com.
