The boho-chic, hippie look in the 1970s was non-conformist anti-fashion: free flowing, romantic, artsy and unique. I remember big floppy hats, maxi skirts, peasant blouses, faded denim, lace, patches and embroidery. Anything handmade or “natural” was coveted.
