This isn’t a real post. It’s more like a bitter rant. Or an attempt at an excuse. My home computer crashed making it very hard to do anything online since my laptop is powered by sluggish hamsters. The laptop isn’t bad for writing novels–because there is very little temptation to go online–but it’s not so good for writing blogs.
I was hoping now that conference is done (It was awesome!) I could dive back into My Fairly Dangerous Godmother edits and get those done.
Unfortunately I ran presentations on my laptop during conference and the weirdest thing happened. My manuscript disappeared off of my computer. I have no idea how this happened since I did save it, but–poof! It’s gone. Four days of work vanished. And it’s not even the four days that bother me. I made a lot of changes, and now I’m going to have to go back and try to remember what they were.
Sooo . . .computer gremlins have won this round.

My condolences, but maybe, just maybe there is a reason. I will pray for you!
