Review 3 | TBR Pile Challenge | Land of Terror

After a hellish adventure trying to get through the first two books on my TBR Pile Challenge list, I finally got through one that wasn’t an alternate! It was Land of Terror by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and it was published in 1944. It was the sixth in his Pellucidar series. I’ve read none of the others, nor have I ever read his work before, but I grabbed this at a library sale because of its interesting cover.
