This is actually the reason I am a complete convert to cheap stationary. Because I’m not afraid to USE it. I’ll wrap the cover in brown paper and make it pretty if I fancy, but I do not trust myself to work properly in a fancy expensive notebook - you need to not be afraid to make mistakes.
