Even if you aren’t a racing fan, you might have heard of Charlie Kimball and Ryan Reed.

On Saturday, Ryan Reed won Daytona. In his post-win interview he talks about how, when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes four years ago, he was told he couldn’t drive a race car. He didn’t take no for an answer.

Whether or not you follow racing, this is yet another great example of someone who (literally) hasn’t let diabetes slow him down.
