A Buffy, the Vampire Slayer reboot is in the works. Without Joss Whedon.
I know, I know, they've got a woman helming this, give her a chance. But is she going to give us lines like "Sometimes I should not say words," or "I'm Buffy, the Vampire Slayer! And you are--?", or "Say, you guys didn't go do a buncha drugs or somethin, didja?", or "I'm a blood-sucking fiend! Look at my outfit!", or--
No, I'll stop. My heart, she aches.

If you don't like it you don't have to watch it. Some people don't like the old movie, it's just supply and demand.
Im so mad! They are going to ruin Buffy! And how can you replace angel?!?! WTF!
There is no Buffy without Joss, period. Trying to remake Buffy without him (which is unnecessary in the first place) is simply a giant mistake.Also, I don't understand who this will be marketed to. Buffy is still recent enough that people have heard of it, so if you were going to watch it you most likely already would have. And the overwhelming majority of Buffy fans are up in arms about this "re-vamp" and won't pay to see it.
Just a bad, bad idea...
A remake is such a bad way to go.If anything they should go the Firefly-->Serenity way and make a movie of the continuing story post-Sunnydale...that is written and directed by Joss Whedon.
I totally agree with you Amy. Or I think it could work if they chose another Slayer (one of the potentials). If they use Buffy without Joss this whole project is DEAD TO ME.
Just now watching buffy on season two...but can already say that NOBODY ELSE COULD DO BUFFY!!!
