Printopia: Print from iPad/iPhone to Any Printer Connected to Your Mac:

I thought printing via iPad would work out of the box with iOS 4.2. Not so. A compatible printer is required. (Anyone have a list of those printers?)

A tweet by Brian Hoff mentioned Printopia. Let me just say this: Wow. Totally impressed with how easy this was to set up. Downloaded the demo, installed it, and then hit the box/arrow icon in Safari on iPad, and boom — there were all the printers connected to my iMac (four of them, actually).

I don't know how much I plan on printing from iPad or iPhone, but $10 is looking like a worthwhile investment right about now.
