Manna Plourde is an explosive writer, and one I’m happy to have a part of Weasel Press. She joined us when we first started out and was the first author we had published. You can catch both of Manna’s book at the links listed above!

♥Manna♥ is a writer from Toronto, Ontario. She is best known for her short work “Ribbon and Leviathan” which showcased her strong tonal writing and established her reputation as an “Ambient Writer”. Focused more on the colour and tone of her work than the contour and form, ♥Manna♥’s work feels more like an emotional experience than a narrative, capturing the movement of feelings rather than the cerebral meaning.


♥Manna♥ was first published under the name “Tybalt Maxwell”, debuting with her story “Steam” in the anthology “Allasso” through Pink Fox Publications. She then was featured in the Weasel Press anthologies “Vagabonds” volumes one and two, and Open Mind volume 1 through Weasel Press and Mind Steady. Her first full length work, “Ribbon and Leviathan”, is published under her real name through Weasel Press.
