Yeah, that’s clearly a failure on our part.

But even so, it’s also possible that people just plain didn’t like the book. I don’t want to attribute low sales to some vast conspiracy. Sometimes you do your best and it doesn’t get people to respond, it just happens. Or you do something that doesn’t hit the level you wanted and you can’t see it, somehow. Authors are far, far, far, far from the best observers of their own work.

I am kind of bummed because I think we had a far more interesting cast than many, many books, and I think we were talking about themes well ahead of most other comics. But that’s MY view, and I clearly am not objective. :)

Mostly I just miss Mouse and Vengeance Moth.
