So, I'm thrilled to have had so many authors sharing their tips for boosting writing productivity and saving time on my blog these past few months.

Today, please welcome contemporary romance author Darcy Flynn, as she shares her tips for capturing ideas on the fly.

I always carry a notebook to jot down a scene or book idea or even dialogue notes. Ideas are fleeting and if you don’t write them down you can lose them forever. I also use the notes app in my smart phone. If I’m driving I dictate into my phone. With today’s technology, there’s never a reason to lose an idea.
