Character Interview With Ethan Bishop from What A Girl Wants
Interviewer- “Welcome to the blog Ethan. We are excited to talk to you.”
Ethan- “Thank you for having me. I’ll admit, I’m a little nervous.”
Interviewer- “Well, we don’t bite, so relax…But, first question that I’m sure everyone is asking themselves-Were you really that clueless?”
Ethan laughs- “Wow-okay…Um, I assume you mean in respect to Bailey’s feelings for me?”
Interviewer- “Among other things-but we will get to those-so start with that.”
Ethan- “Well, we were best friends. We had been for so long and she’d never said anything before…I guess, I just really didn’t see her attraction to me as anything but friendly.”
Interviewer- “But what about her? You were never attracted to her?”
Ethan-“Bailey is the coolest woman I’ve ever known…And I always felt so lucky to have her in my life that I choose to ignore any attraction I felt for her. I guess I was afraid of messing up a good thing with her. And besides, there was Emily…”
Interviewer- “Agh! Emily-yes, how could we forget?”
Ethan- “She’s really not a bad person.”
Interviewer- “She told you she was having your child when she wasn’t.”
Ethan- “Okay, I can see where that can give you the impression that she’s a monster, but really she was scared and alone. What she did was wrong.”
Interviewer- “What she did almost caused you to lose Bailey for good. How did you convince her to give you another chance after all of that? I mean, you’re smoking hot, but…”
Ethan- “I messed up-big time and I am so grateful that she was willing to give me another chance. I think when you have a bond with someone so strong, like we do, being best friends first for so long, it’s a little easier to forgive. One mistake in a lifetime of good memories with a person makes it a little easier. That and the fact that I’ve spent every waking minute making it up to her. ”
Interviewer- “It’s a P.G. interview, so we won’t touch that, but we will ask-do you two plan to get married?”
Ethan- “As a matter of fact, I proposed on a trip to Venice.”
Interviewer- “She said yes I assume?”
Ethan- “Yes she did. For some crazy reason, she’s willing to give clueless me a chance to love her every day for the rest of her life.”
Interviewer- “I’m happy to hear that-Congratulations…Don’t mess it up.”
Ethan-“I won’t. Believe me, nothing could come between us now.”
Interviewer-“Thanks for being here today. Sorry we went a little tough on you. We really do love you.”
Ethan- “Thanks for hosting me.”
