Feeling nostalgic

During their high school years, a lot of young girls who dream of being an author go through their romantic whimsical stage of wanting to emulate William Shakespeare's writing. ("Romeo and Juliet" has such an effect on young female minds.)

Here was my attempt from my high school years (age 17):

If thou fearest the future, then thou haste not listened to thy heart.
For thou art as a bud in the springtime
And as a bud, must bloom in the sunlight.
Which is as that which is the eternal birth of love
So is the bud as it becomes the rose
So haste thou nothing to fear.
