Nirvana, 1992. "They were great in front of the camera," remembers photographer Edie Baskin, who shot for SNL until 1999. “You can tell by the picture of the two on the left. When they came to SNL, they became a bit more refined, and that’s part of what happened in general at SNL. This is a very peaceful picture of them, and that’s what I like about it. It looks like [Kurt’s] wearing a Saturday Night Live T-shirt.”
