Indeed it did. I always wanted that Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle with a compass in the stock and the thing which tells time. But everyone kept telling me I'd shoot my eye out. My mom, my teacher, even Santa himself. But on Christmas Day, I got one after all, and I was the happiest kid ever.
