The new-atheist blame game has begun

Unfortunately it didn’t take long for “new atheists” to be at the forefront of blame for the Chapel Hill shooting that is making headline news this morning.At this time we don’t know much about motivations, and as my fellow Danthropology blogger has pointed out, one thing we know for sure is, atheism itself is not to blame, and by simply blaming it, we do a disservice to the victims of this tragedy.
