Soft Cover Proof has arrived!

Ok so I may have told a few people today but here is the official blog post.

The Other Side of Eve softcover proof copy has landed!

This is the first copy I have held in my hands and it is wonderful.

To be honest I didn’t think it was going to be so sexy! (I know it’s a book)

Straight up I can see the cover needs adjusting but apart from that Ingram Spark Printers have done a wonderful job.

Under 4 days to make, post and arrive at my doorstep is incredible.

The paper is crisp white, I could have gone with cream but I like the black and white theme. The hardcover I ordered has cream paper so I’ll get to see that shortly.

Printer: Ingram Spark

Size: 9×6″

Pages: 590 – the paper is thin, but not too thin and is opaque.

Weight: Heavy as its nearly 600 pages. Don’t have me scales today.

Text: Clear 12pt and the ink is not too dark or light.

Chapter Illustrations: I can’t believe the detail that is shown. They are clear and even the fines lines are shown. Unlike my home printer which blurs them.

Wrap up: Well obviously I’m happy. The cover is clear, a little to the right but I think that’s an error on my behalf. Everything else I had worries about was fine.

I know the laminated hard cover will be just amazing so once I go though this proof and fix any errors I’ll order one.
