With all the attention I've had to take away from my husband lately because of some life events that needed my attention in other places, I've missed him and I know he misses me. This last time I left, he was at work. He returned home and proceeded to find little post-it notes all over the house with messages from me.

On his remote.
On his clock.
Under his pillow.
On the mirror.
On his dinner.
On the toilet lid.

Each note had something simple to say---some things funny and some sentimental-- but it's amazing how a few words and effort can let someone know they mean everything to you.
