I was given a arc for an honest review. Gods!!!! Must I say more. I like just about any books that envolve GODS. Thorne knows there is something going on with Kataya but just doesn’t know why she keeps appearing. Now he finds out that something is going to happen and a God has appeared to keep a eye on him. I loved it and I am excited for the next book.

OMG OMG OMG – I love A.J. Bennett as an author – I can also add that she does NOT disappoint you in this serial!!! If it were only a little longer, it might be a little better. But still, this is definitely another one of those “I can’t stop reading” type books.
This is the second book of the serial, but, you really need to read Hired Gun #1 first. In the first book we got to meet Thorne – who is the main character. In this – the second book – we continue on with his story as an assassin for hire who has supernatural powers. I don’t write spoilers– but the fast pace of things keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. I will say this – – I am so upset with A.J. for where this story stopped!!!!
If you like paranormal books, that contain some sexual content, and are fairly short, then you will love this.

As the Plot thickens in book #2, You will fall in love more and more with Thorne. This story is steamer, and more intriguing. Having his parents in the picture makes it even more interesting him being an Immortal, and his parents God’s. He is obsessed with finding Kataya a (Chameleon) after sleeping with her, and she taking the appereance of his deseased wife, there is something about her he can’t shake off. Sleeping around and kicking butt with his Buddy Benny, is one way that he feels will get her off his mind, but he can’t help but ask more questions, and getting the answers as to why she is so important.
Again this is a short story with a smooth pace, it is hotter and sexier, that will have you asking more questions, and leave you waiting on the next book with anticipation.

AJ Bennett knows how to leave you wanting more with that heart pumping ending. The plot is slowly progressing since the books are each less than 100 pages long, but I am enjoying where things are headed. I really do love the idea that Norse gods and Greek gods both exist and work together; the plot really gets interesting when Athena comes to visit Thorne to inform him that a monumental change is about to hit earth. Warning this series is definitely a romance with some very descriptive parts. Right when the story gets hot and heavy the book ends with a surprise twist leaving you wishing for more! If you like a good romance with a paranormal twist this is the book series for you! I personally cannot wait to read the next one!

This is #2 in the serial, so you really need to read Hired Gun 1 to fully understand & appreciate #2. Thorne & Benny are back to doing what they do best, kill things. The pesky cat Thorne brought home is still hanging around, causing problems. Kataya is no where to be found.
Once again, AJ has written a quick, steamy read that leaves you wanting more without throwing your kindle because of a cliffhanger ending. All of the characters are well developed and the dialog flows. I can hardly wait to see what book 3 brings!

Thorne is plagued by his thoughts as he learns of what fate may, or should have in store for the earth. Throughout this book he can’t get Kataya out of his head. Thorne doesn’t know how to have anything by steamy hot sex! I am definitely diving right into book 3!
