Pax! After having an extended break from blogging, I intend to get back in and visit my old buddies and hopefully pick up a few new friends. I am at the moment updating and refreshing my blog and when I finish will start the rounds.
I have been spending a lot of time typing up Forces of Mist. For those who don't know it is a New Adult, Dystopian Sci-fi set in Sydney, Australia. This book will be a stand alone novel with a target of 80,000 to 100,000 words.
Although I have written up to the last two chapters, I have been procrastinating to finish.
I have typed 35,000 words, but have a lot more to type, lol!I prefer to write my novels using the old fashioned method of pen and paper and then transfer them into a typed format, working on the first draft as I go.
I do hope to release Forces of Mist late this year and for those who previously showed an interest in Beta Reading, I hope to contact you all very soon.
If you are reading this and would also like to be a Beta Reader please leave your details in the comments box below and I will most definitely contact you.
With a full time working life, I find I only have a limited amount of time to spend on my writing, so even though this book is taking a long time to complete, I do feel I am happy with it's progress.
I hope you are working towards you own goals for 2015 and wish everyone a successful writing year.Cheers!Carolyn
