Insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results

Okay, January is over, and I’m wondering how many made new years resolutions and if you’re having any luck. One of mine was go blog more often, but that hasn’t gone so well. In my defense, I have been fighting the “crud” throughout most of January, so I’ve fallen behind on just about…everything. Except eating, of course.

I did better than most years as far as goal-setting goes. I made a list. My daughter would be so proud. I even went so far as to make plans on how to execute and to obtain my goals. I did this because over the years, I’ve wanted to make changes-and a few have occurred, but those happened because of dumb luck as opposed to anything I did.

I decided to map out a strategy and write it down because it holds me accountable. Now I’m forever a procrastinator, especially in doing things I don’t want to do, and believe me this habit has been difficult to overcome, but I’m trying. One baby step at a time.

How about you? What is your approach for making changes in your life?shadow-of-love-sonia-richard
